From May 7–10, 2027, we'll trade bustling cities for the sparkling waters of the Tyrrhenian Sea as we settle into the extraordinary Hotel Santa Caterina—a five-star luxury resort perched on the cliffs of the Amalfi Coast. This historic property is a proud member of The Leading Hotels of the World and is renowned for its elegant accommodations, panoramic terraces, lush lemon-scented gardens, and spectacular views of the Mediterranean. It truly is one of the most beautiful places to stay in all of Italy.

During your stay, you'll have ample time to wander the charming streets of Amalfi, browse its colorful boutiques, relax at a waterfront café, or simply soak in the beauty of the coastline. You'll also enjoy a scenic boat ride to Positano (weather permitting), giving you the opportunity to experience one of the Amalfi Coast's most iconic villages from the sea.

Whether you're relaxing by the water, enjoying an espresso on your private balcony, shopping the local boutiques, or simply taking in the incredible coastal scenery, this extension offers the perfect opportunity to rest, recharge, and savor the beauty of southern Italy before returning home. What's Included

The cost of the extension depends on the category of room you select at our boutique hotel. Each room category has limited availability, and reservations will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, so we encourage you to reserve your room early if you would like to join us.

Your extension price includes:

• Three nights at the five-star Hotel Santa Caterina

• Group transfer from Rome to Amalfi

• Lunch on the day of arrival

• Scenic boat ride to Positano (weather permitting)

• Farewell dinner at Hotel Santa Caterina

A Note About Scheduling

We recommend waiting until you are in Amalfi before making any personal sightseeing or dining reservations. Because weather conditions on the coast can change, our included boat excursion may take place on either the first or second full day of the extension. Once we arrive, we'll confirm the schedule so you can confidently make any additional plans around it.

Morning: Depart Rome for Naples where we have lunch.

Afternoon: Enjoy lunch in Naples before traveling to the beautiful Amalfi Coast. Upon arrival, check in to a cliffside hotel offering breathtaking views of the Tyrrhenian Sea.

Evening: Dinner on your own to enjoy at one of Amalfi’s charming local restaurants.

Free day in Amafli to explore. Below are some suggestions. Our hotel has a shutttle that will take you from our hotel to the town of Amalfi and back (runs every 30 minutes). You do not need to make plans for this day until we are in Amalfi!

Amalfi Town
Amalfi is a charming coastal village with a lively main square, scenic beaches, and the stunning Duomo di Sant’Andrea, a mix of Moorish, Gothic, and Baroque styles. Don’t miss the Cloister of Paradise and the crypt of St. Andrew, the town’s patron saint.

Visitors can explore the Paper Museum to learn about its medieval paper-making tradition or relax at one of the seaside cafés. Wander the narrow streets – great for photos, discovering artisan shops, and tasting local treats.

Just 20 minutes uphill from Amalfi, Ravello offers a peaceful escape with breathtaking views, elegant gardens, and a rich cultural scene. Don’t miss Villa Rufolo or Villa Cimbrone.
